NB: Thunzi no longer offers picnics to day visitors, only overnight guests are able to book picnics.
Exciting News… Thunzi now offers ready meals/braai packs and special occasion hampers that can be ordered 24 hrs in advance from Reception or upon confirming your booking. Please see menu options below.
We have two picnic options to choose from…we will set up a private picnic spot for you with a Japanese style table, cushions and blankets, cutlery/crockery and glasses – you bring your own food
OR
Book a full gourmet picnic setup (see menu below), we will arrange your delicious food that can be collected at Reception or delivered to your chalet.
We offer wine and alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks and juices which are to be additionally purchased from Thunzi Bush Lodge.

Option 1: We will set up a private picnic spot for you with a Japanese style table, cushions and blankets, cutlery/crockery and glasses – food excluded, you are to bring your own food. | R200 |

Terms & Conditions
Picnics are only for guests staying at the lodge.
- Please note that your picnic will only be confirmed once full payment has been received.
- Non-payment will result in automatic cancellation of the picnic
- 100% cancellation fee.
- Due to the fact that we outsource the catering of the picnic baskets we do require a notice period of 24 hours notice prior to the day of the picnic.
- All damages are payable at the full replacement cost of the item/s.
